Bartz, Mr./Mrs. Fred (25th - 1940)
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartz, prominent people living in the town of York, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at their farm home Sunday by entertaining their relatives at a 12 o’clock dinner. The tables were set on the spacious lawn, and covers were laid for 85 guests. Among those from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Behn of Eagle River; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Helm and son, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Helm, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wolf, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Eichorst and Mrs. Clara Krause of Beriln, and Mrs. George Guenther and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Eau Claire. In the evening the neighbors, numbering 65, came in to help celebrate the occasion. The Bartzes have two daughters, Miss Irene; teacher in Clark county schools; and Neva, senior at Granton high school. The wedding cake was made and decorated by Mrs. Floyd Pietenpol.
