Tom Paun was in Chili Monday, and, enroute home, he visited with the Brinkmeiers.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Seltrecht and Helen and Joe Semen attended the Farmers union quarterly convention in Neillsville Monday as delegates of the Sherwood local.
The Sherwood Farmers union local will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Henry Seltrecth residence tonight.
Joe Seman and Mrs. W. Chandler were in Granton last Tuesday. From there they went to Marshfield, where Mrs. Chandler took the train for her home in Fond du Lac.
Myrtel Hanson, Frank Scholtz and Glenn Brinkmeier returned from the Farmers union junior camp at Chetek Saturday afternoon and report their time well spent.
Mrs. Paul Shimkis and two children spent from Wednesday to Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank McPherson, her husband coming after her Sunday.
Mrs. Steve Shimkus returned to her home in Wisconsin Rapids, after spending the week with her father, Joe Matonich.
John Matonich left Sunday morning for Chicago, where he is employed.
Mrs. Ralph Doughty came by train to assist in the care of her mother, mars. Hannah Gall, who had a stroke Sunday night. Mrs. Gall passed away at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Helen and John Seman attended a farmer’s union meeting in York Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. John Enfield visited with her father, Joe Matonich, and sisters, Helen and Louise, Sunday, also stopping at the Clayton McCann home.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vanderhoof and children and Mildred Scholtz attended the movies in Chili Wednesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scholtz and Joe Seman called on Jess Sparks Sunday evening with the Seman brothers.
Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Henninger and daughter attended the graduation exercises at Central State Teachers college, Stevens Point, last week. Their son, Milo, was graduated from the four-year course.
