Hayden, Harriett E. (11 Feb 1854 - 28 June 1940)

Mrs. Chas. Hayden passed away at the Granton Clinic June 28, 1940 death was due to old age complications.

Harriet E. Coyle was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Coyle at Dundaft, Pa., February 11, 1854, where she grew to womanhood. In 1870 she was married to John Sweet. To this union two sons were born, Franklin G. and Stephen F. In 1879 she came to Wisconsin with her family were they lived on a farm in the town of York, Mr. Sweet passing away in 1917.

Later Mrs. Sweet was married to Carl Stark, who passed away in March, 1924. In 1926 she was married to Chas. Hayden, and after he passed away she made her home with her son, Frank, living in and around Granton.

She leaves a sister, Mrs. Ella Warner, Deer Park, Wash.; two sons, Frank of Granton; and Steven of Rice Lake; a step-daughter, Mrs. H. Jehn, Carbondal, Pa.; two step-sons, Bert Hayden, Granton; Louis Hayden, Sr.; Merrillan. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Gilbertson funeral home, with interment in the Windfall Cemetery.
