His marriage to Arvilla was his first marriage. Sarah married Phillip McConnell, she died in Michigan in 1935. Margaret married Octavus Baird 8/30/1876 in Wisconsin. She died 11/14/1943 in Owen, Wisconsin, buried in Greenwood Wisconsin City Cemetery.
