Fireside Visits
A group of former Neillsville residents, who had long since left the city to make their homes elsewhere, gathered here last week to visit relatives and to renew old friendships.
Even a younger generation gleaned a kick out of the chance reunion as Milton Alexander and his friends, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoey, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Youmans and daughter, Rita, and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Ketel met the old friends with a genuine "Happy to see you again" handshake.
Nor did all the home-coming activities appear on Hewett Street. The visitors were invited to the various homes, to the cottages at Lake Arbutus and taken on trips to many nearby beauty spots.
