David D. Witte

COLBY -- David Dean Witte, 36, of Colby died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, as the result of a car-pedestrian accident in the town of Hull, Marathon County.

Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday Jan. 26, 2007, at First United Church of Christ, Colby. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at Community Funeral Home, Colby, and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

David was born May 21, 1970, in Marshfield to Dean and Doris (Geiger) Witte. He worked for Berg Equipment in Marshfield and then farmed in the town of Hull until July of 2006 when he became the patrol grader operator for the town of Hull.

David is survived by his parents, Dean and Doris Witte of Colby; his sisters, Deana Witte, Marshfield, Denise (Al) Bach, Dorchester, and Donna (Wayne) Rau, Dorchester; and nieces and nephews.
