Wessenberg, Forrest G. (12 APR 1890 - 28 AUG 1913)
Following is an obituary of Forrest Wessenberg as published in the Centralia (Wash.) Chronicle.
Forrest G. Wessenberg was born in Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis., on April 12, 1890, later moving to Greenwood, where he received his education. Later he moved with his family to Portland, Oregon, and in 1912 came to Centralia, where he made his home up to the time of his death.
On Aug. 26th Mr. Wessenberg was crushed between a log and a car while working in the woods near Shelton, this state. He was removed to St. Peter’s Hospital, where he lived 51 hours, and died Aug. 28, 1913. Death resulted from internal injuries.
Deceased leaves to mourn his loss, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Wessenberg of Portland, Robert Wessenberg, Winifred, Wessenberg, and Mrs. L.A. Garrison, also of Portland, and sister, Mrs. Chas. Severs of this place, and fiancé Emma Feldman, also of this city.
