Putnam, Ellen (4 AUG 1915)
The home of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Meeks was the scene of a pretty wedding last evening, Aug. 4, 1915, says the Loyal Tribune, when Mr. Talford B. Bea of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was joined in wedlock to Miss Ellen Putnam of this village. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Powell.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Meeks, and is a pretty and popular young lady of pleasing disposition, who has a great many friends in our village. The groom holds a position as brakeman on the Soo Line between Greenwood and Marshfield, and is a young man very popular among his associates and friends in this village.
The wedding was quiet, only immediate relatives being present. The young couple will enter upon an extended wedding trip and upon their return will be at home to their many friends at Greenwood, Wis., after Sept. 4th.
We join the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Bea in wishing them a long life of happiness and prosperity.
