Kocher, Rose (26 APR 1916)
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Kocher was the center of a very happy event last Wednesday, April 26, 1916, when their daughter Rose was united in marriage to Mr. Julius Voigt. The bride and groom are well known and highly respected in the community where they reside and many were the congratulations which they received none more impressive than the one which took place with no uncertain sound after the couple were united as husband and wife, when a large company congregated outside the happy home and made their presence known by the sounds which proceeded from many instruments of torture. The wedding guests which numbered about twenty in all were served to a very generous and well cooked supper by the bride’s mother after the occasion. All join in wishing this couple a pleasant and happy voyage on the sea of wedded life. The ceremony was performed by Pastor S.R. Dunlop, Baptist Church, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).
