Himes, Minnie (24 JUL 1919)
On last Thursday, July 24, 1919, at noon at the Methodist Parsonage in this city (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.) occurred the marriage of Mr. Hubert Brown and Miss Minnie Himes. They were attended by Mr. Joseph Brown, brother of the groom, and Alma Himes, sister of the bride. Maudie and Irene Brown, nieces of Mr. Brown, were also present at the ceremony. The bridal party and Rev. and Mrs. Moats went to the bride’s home at Bright (Clark Co.) where a sumptuous wedding dinner was served. The groom recently returned from service in France, and has been working on the Brown farm south of Greenwood, where he and his bride will reside for the present. The Gleaner joins with their many friends in wishing them many years of happy wedded life.
