Johnson, Helga (7 JUL 1920)
A very pretty wedding took place at the home of Mrs. Mary Johnson, Wednesday, July 7th, 1920, when Miss Helga Johnson and Mr. Edwin Peterson were married, Rev. M.K. Aaberg officiating.
The bride was very tastefully attired in cream colored satin and a veil, carrying a shower of Jacque roses.
The groom wore a dark brown worsted suit.
They were attended by Leonard and Serna Johnson, brother and sister of the bride.
After the ceremony a three course lunch was served, presided over by Mrs. W.I. Weils.
The house was beautifully decorated with flags, ferns and roses.
Only immediate relatives and intimate friends were present.
The happy couple took their departure Sunday evening from Owen for Benton Harbor, where they will be at home to friends after August 1st.
Their many friends join the Gleaner in extending best wishes for many years of happy wedded life.
