Celebrates Birthday
On Sunday, September 22, a group of relatives and friends gathered at the August Worchel home in the town of Seif to celebrate Grandpa Worchel’s 84th birthday. All the children, except one daughter, Mrs. Paul Bollwahn of South Haven, Mich., came home for the occasion. Those in attendance were: J. A. Kleist and Mr. and Mrs. R. Salling and son, Eau Claire; Mrs. E. A. Konshok, Des Moines, Iowa, her daughter, Elaine, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hessel, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schlinsog and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Howard, Jr.; Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Worchel and children, Seif, and Mrs. W. B. Thoma, Weston.
In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wood and Elaine and Donald called. After an afternoon and evening spent in visiting, greetings and felicitations were extended Mr. Worchel.
