Joyce Elaine Degenhardt, 75, of Colby died Friday, Jan. 26, at the Colonial Center, Colby.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, North Green Grove. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, and from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church Wednesday. Burial will be in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Dorchester, Wis.

Joyce was born April 3, 1931, in the town of Colby to Oscar and Elnora (Glenzer) Erdman. She married Harold James Degenhardt on Sept. 15, 1951.

Survivors are her children, Lorna (Eugene) Writz of Phoenix, Ariz., Lynne (Tom) Boneske of Athens, Loise (John) Schmalz of Eau Claire, Larry (Lori) Degenhardt of Wausau, Lu Ann (Lyle) Kloth of Dorchester, Lori (Vince) Nechuta of Dorchester and Kristie Degenhardt of Chapel Hill, N.C.; siblings, Pearl Erdman of Colby and Galen (Shirley) Erdman of Curtis; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two grandsons.
