Gotter, Lorene (26 FEB 1938)

Miss Lorene Gotter daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gotter, and Norman Luchterhand, son of Albert Luchterhand, both of Loyal, were united in marriage Saturday Feb. 26th., at 4:00 P. M. The wedding ceremony took place at the Lutheran parsonage, Rev. J. C. Langholz officiating.

The bride was attended by her sister, Arline Gotter, and Garth Luchterhand, brother of the groom was best man.

The bride was attired in a navy blue and white dress wearing blue accessories and a shoulder corsage.

The bridesmaid wore a dress of old rose trimmed with ecru lace and wore a shoulder corsage.

The groom and his attendant were attired in dark blue suits.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents at 7:00 P. M. for immediate relatives only. A wedding cake baked by Mrs. Harvey Gotter, a sister-in-law of the bride, decorated the bride’s table. Miss Labelia Gotter of Thorp and Genevieve Schmidt of Loyal were table waitresses. A wedding dance was given at the Country Club at Marshfield Saturday evening.

Both the bride and groom are well known here, having lived near Loyal most of their lives. The groom is engaged in the trucking business.

The newlyweds will make their home with the bride’s parents until definite plans have been made.

The Tribune joins their wide circle of friends and acquaintances in extending Best Wishes for a happy life together.
