Warncke, Eleanor (28 MAR 1936)
A quiet home wedding was solemnized by Rev. W.P. Powell at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Riber of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.) on Saturday afternoon at three o’clock in the presence of near relatives, when Miss Eleanor Warncke, daughter of Fred Warncke of Maplehurst became the bride of Carl Riber.
The bride was attired in a silk crepe gown of aqua-tone with grey accessories and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses and baby breath. Her attendant, Miss Myrtice Koplitz, wore frazee silk crepe of orchid color with silver accessories and had a shoulder bouquet of sweet peas and red roses.
The groom was attended by his brother, Elmer Riber.
A reception was held at the Riber home in the evening for relatives. Covers were laid for fourteen.
The young couple are well known in this community and will make their home on a farm north of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
Their many friends join in wishing them much happiness and prosperity for their future.
