Anderson, Gunder (1874? - 9 JUL 1936)
Word has come that death claimed Gunder E. Anderson, 62, at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, this morning. Mr. Anderson had been a patient at the Luther Hospital for several months.
Coming to Owen in 1894, he became associated with the John S. Owen Lumber Co., later holding the office of assistant secretary, and had general charge of the land department, which position he retained until his death. Mr. Anderson took an active interest in the development of the city of Owen and northern Clark County, and for many years represented the first ward of Owen on the county board. His passing will be mourned by his many acquaintances and friends.
He leaves to mourn, one brother, Iver, of Eau Claire.
