Last week in two days eight wolves were presented at the County Clerk's office for bounty and all were said to be genuine. County Clerk Wilding is an expert on detecting fake wolves. In case of dispute the scalps can be sent to Madison, and there passed upon by experts. In the numerous cases sent there, every decision so far has sustained Mr. Wilding. He secured one of the wolves presented last week to have stuffed and mounted. This he will keep in the office to show claimants who may not know the point of difference between the wolf and other animals.
