Buck, Grace M. (24 OCT 1936)
At a ceremony performed at noon Saturday, Oct. 24, 1936, Miss Grace Marguerite Buck of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Thomas George of Marshfield. The marriage service was read by the Rev. James Ogden at the groom’s home on route 2. Only immediate relatives were present. The day was also the 25th wedding anniversary of the bride’s parents.
With her navy blue gown the bride wore a corsage of white roses and baby’s breath. Her attendant, Miss Beulah Clouse, wore a light blue frock and a corsage of pink roses and baby’s breath. Robert Reigel attended the groom as best man.
After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to 21 guests. Those from here who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reigel and B.P. Buck.
Mr. and Mrs. George have left on a week’s wedding trip and after Nov. 1 will be at home to their friends at the groom’s farm house.
The bride is a graduate of the Chicago Evangelistic Institute and for the past few months has been acting as dean of women at Faith Bible School, Mitchell, S.D.
