Hansen, Lars (10 APR 1860 - 21 NOV 1936)

Funeral services for Lars Hansen were held at the Danish Lutheran Church at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. Mikkelsen officiated.

Lars Hansen was born in Denmark on April 10, 1860, and at the age of 18 emigrated to this county. He was married in Omaha, Neb., and this union was blessed with one child, a son, Hans, who now resides in Frenchtown.

Mr. Hansen was a member of the town board of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.), for several years and is also a member of the Danish Brotherhood. He has been ailing for the past seven years with anemia, which finally cause his death, Saturday, Nov. 21, 1936. He had been confined to his bed about ten days previously. His wife preceded him in death.
