Smith, James Henry (22 Oct. 1850 - 25 July 1925)
James Henry Smith was born Oct. 22, 1850, in Allegheny County, Penn., and died July 25, 1925, after several weeks illness with kidney trouble, aged 74 years, 9 months, 3 days. Deceased was a resident of Jackson county for many years. He is survived by three children: Andrew, Mrs. Frank Eisberner, of the town of Cleveland, and Mrs. Wm. Struz, of Curtis. Four brother and one sister, Albert, Charles, Frank and Stephen, and Mrs. Emma Eisenhart. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Eisenhart. Undertaker Kretschmer having charge. Rev. C. F. Klien preached the burial sermon, and interment was in the Garden Valley cemetery.
