Vinton, Hallie (Marriage - Sept. 1925)

Slipping quietly away last Friday, two of our promising young people, Mr. Fred Laffe, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Laffe, and Miss Hallie Vinton, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Briggs, went to Winona, and were there united in marriage. Since returning home these newly wedded young folks have been busy acknowledging the best wishes and congratulations of their many intimate friends. Their future home is to be on a farm near Osseo, where the groom has already prepared a home for his happy bride. Mr. Laffe is one of our home boys, a veteran of the World War, and a diligent worker. The young lady of his choice has been a resident to the village for the past two years, coming with her parents from Eau Claire. She will be, no doubt, an excellent homemaker.

May life's journey be a happy and prosperous one for both of these newly married young couples.
