Sheets, Virginia (26 DEC 1936)
A pretty wedding of the holiday season was solemnized at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Parsonage, Green Grove, the Rev. M.C. Goetsch officiating, when Miss Virginia Sheets, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sheets of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.) Township, became the bride of Henry Dunow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Dunow, Owen route 2. The bride was attired in a formal gown of purple transparent velvet, with silver accessories. Mrs. Martin Williams, who attended here, wore a wine transparent velvet gown.
Martin Williams served as best man. The couple will make their home with the groom’s parents.
