A quiet wedding was solemnized at Joliet, Ill., Friday, Jan. 15, 1937, when Miss Sue Baker, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. K.W. Baker of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) was united in marriage to Ray Vomachek of Rib Lake.
Miss Baker for the past year and a half has been employed at Rib Lake, as bookkeeper in the offices of the Rib Lake Lumber Co. She is a graduate of the Owen High School, and later completed her training in a business school at Wausau.
Mr. Vomachek is the editor and publisher of the Rib Lake Herald, he assuming the duties of that office several years ago, when his father became postmaster.
Mr. and Mrs. Vomachek, after returning home, visited at the home of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. K.W. Baker, Sunday of this week. They will make their home in Rib Lake
