West Levis

Mrs. Hattie Rodman spent the weekend at the R. French home.

Mrs. French and Mrs. Beeckler called on Mrs. Lautenbach Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Opelt and Floyd spent Sunday at the John Gallbreath home.

Mrs. Arne Baken is visiting her mother, Mrs. Mary Schultz.

Mrs. W. L. Murphy received word that her brother, Rev. H. Mier, of Kankankee, Ill., had passed away Sunday. Mrs. Murphy and son, Edward, left Monday to attend the funeral. Edward will go from there to Rochester before returning home.

The neighbors gathered at the Louie Lautenbach home Thursday evening to help Mrs. Lautenbach celebrate her birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. George Beeckler visited at the Otto Braun home north of Loyal Sunday.

Mrs. Art Opelt, Mrs. Carl Opelt, Mrs. Earl Schwellenbach, Mrs. Otto Liskow, Mrs. French and Mrs. Beeckler called at the Frederick Wendt home Tuesday to see the new baby.

Mr. and Mrs. David Philips and children called at the R. French home one day last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark Peterson and family spent the weekend at the Victor Horton and Floyd Hagie homes. Victor Horton returned with them to spend the weekend.

Mrs. Alvin Wendt has been working at the county superintendent’s office the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. George Bryan, Sr. spent Saturday at the George Byran, Jr., home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Holub and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Holub and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Holub, Jr., and family attended a birthday part for Lillian Holub Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Augie Horton and children spent one day last week with Mrs. Clyde Horton.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Richmond and Dora spent Sunday evening at the Floyd Hagie home.

George Bryan, Jr. is hauling mail on route for this week.

Mrs. Widman of Marshfield and Richard Ketelhand of Milwaukee spent Sunday at the Herb Nickels home.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Lautenbach called on Mrs. Helmuth Schultz and baby daughter at the Granton Clinic Thursday.

Mrs. French and Mrs. Beeckler called on the Beeckler home in Granton Monday.

Herb Nickels was a business caller in Wisconsin Rapids Monday.
