West Eaton

Robert Zetche, Sr., called at the Soren Krontved home Sunday.

Mr. Hamel, the music director, met with several interested parents Monday evening at the Janesville Settlement School to start a school band. He plans to teach band music in all the surrounding rural schools.

Sunday callers at the Orville Dimler home were Mrs. Jennie Schoenwetter, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Christie and daughter, Bethel, Mrs. Atkin, Emil Pagelsdorf and children and Pete Cammat.

Mrs. John Nelson entertained the Home Economics club Wednesday afternoon, with a large crowd present.

Martin Merlak had the misfortune to be kicked by a horse Monday evening.

Arbutus Dimler called on the Krontved girls Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Meissner and family attended church at Greenwood Sunday.

Martin Merlak is cutting wood.

There were lots of hunters out Sunday. Some had quite good luck.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Drew and children attended church in Greenwood Sunday.

Pete Krontved left Thursday morning with the National Guard from Neillsville, Wis.
