Klug, Ida (4 Nov. 1874 - 17 Oct. 1940)

Funeral services for Mrs. Emil Klug, town of Lynn, were held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, Saturday afternoon, the Rev. Obed Asp of Neillsville officiating. She was 65 years, 11 months and 18 days old at the time of her death.

Mrs. Klug was born November 4, 1874, at Oak Creek, Wis., the daughter of Fred and Johanna (Nickles) Krueger. On April 24, 1897, she was married to Frank Xavier Smith at Cudahy, Wis., making their home there until September 23, 1919, when they moved to the present home in the town of Lynn, Clark County. Mr. Smith died July 26, 1938.

Four children were born to them: Raymond, Milwaukee; Urban, Visalia, Cali., Alice, Mrs. Oscar Bentz, Alden, Ill.; and Vernon at home.

November 5, 1939, Mrs. Smith was again married, to Emil Klug of Cudahy. They continued to live on the farm in the town of Lynn, where Mrs. Klug passed away on Thursday, October 17, 1940.

Burial was made in the Windfall cemetery.
