FOOT CUT OFF
A very tragic accident occurred last week Friday the 13th. Herman Steinke, a farmer who resides three miles northwest of there (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI), was cutting fodder corn with a mower, his four year old boy was playing in the corn and the father, unaware of that, mowed the little fellows foot off at the ankle on the left leg and the big toe on the right leg. He was immediately brought to town where Dr. Nedry dressed the injured members and it is reported that he is getting along nicely. The parents are almost prostrated over the accident.
