Brezic, Helen Marie (Marriage - 16 Nov. 1940)
Miss Helen Marie Brezic, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brezic of Willard, and Frank Lamoric of Chicago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lamoric, Sr., of Willard, were united in marriage at the Holy Family Church at Willard at 9 a.m. Saturday, November 16, in a double-ring ceremony, the Rev. Marcelles Marinshek officiating.
The bride, who wore a white satin gown with a long train, was given away by her father. Her long veil was held in place by a chin strap. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Miss Mary Lamoric, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. She wore pink taffeta with a blue blusher. Her bouquet consisted of pink and white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Ann Koschak, was similarly dressed, and her flowers were exactly like those of the maid of honor. Frank Koschak was best man, and Henry Lamoric was the usher.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, were about 125 guests assembled.
The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School. The couple will be at home in Chicago, where the groom is employed in a steel mill.
The wedding was a double one, for at the same time and under the same conditions, Miss Anna Snedic became the bride of Louis Horvat, both being residents of Willard, where they will make their home. Their attendants were Misses Angeline and Josephine Snedic, who acted as bridesmaids, and John Trunkel, Jr. and Valentine Krainz attended the groom.
