Rogus, Katherine (8 AUG 1931)
The marriage of Miss Katherine Rogus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Rogus of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. John Lato, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Lato of Thorp, took place at eight o’clock Saturday morning, Aug. 8th, 1931, at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating. Wm. Wolowick served as best man and Miss Wanda Gaska as maid of honor. Other attendants were: Frances Rogus, sister of the bride, Rose Jarosz, Julia Lato, Nick Jarosz and John Lato. The bride’s dress was satin and lace and she carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley and gladioli.
The maids wore rainbow color dresses with head bands to match and carried pink roses and gladioli. The groom’s suit was navy blue.
After a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents the couple left for Chicago where they will spend a few days, returning here to reside on the groom’s farm.
