Henning, Mrs. August (15 SEP 1858 - 19 SEP 1931)

After suffering greatly for a period of nearly two years from a gangrene affliction, Mrs. August Henning died at her home in this village on Saturday last, aged 73 years, four months and four days. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bacon of Racine, Wis., and was born at Racine on Sept. 15, 1858. She was united in marriage to Mr. August Henning in 1881 and 43 years ago they came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) where they have since made their home.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. James Irish from the Bogumill undertaking rooms on Sunday afternoon last, interment following the services in the village cemetery.
