DeGroot, Mrs. Harry (3 Nov. 1908 - 1 Dec. 1940)

Mrs. Harry DeGroot passed away at the hospital at Black River Falls at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, December 1, after a short illness.

Mrs. DeGroot was born in the town of Grant, Clark County, on November 3, 1908. She was married to Harry DeGroot in May, 1926.

Surviving are her husband and four children: Felix, 13; Edward, 10; Arthur, 8; and John, 11 ½ months. Two children preceded her in death. Also surviving are: her father, John Krause, Granton; two brother, Felix Krause, Granton, and Arnold, whose where-abouts is unknown, and two sisters, Mrs. Morton Clark, Alma Center, and Mrs. Otto Gorzelitz, Neillsville, Wis.

Funeral services were held at Alma Center at 1 p.m. and at Granton at 3 p.m. December 4, the Rev. G. W. Longenecker of Neillsville officiating.
