THORP -- Louise Josephine Bonczyk, 91, of Thorp, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at her home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary service, today at the Thorp Funeral Home.

Louise was born March 18, 1915, in the town of Eidsvold, rural Stanley, to Frank and Frances (Wypyszynski) Burzynski. She was united in marriage June 22, 1935, in Chicago to John Boczyk Sr. The couple farmed in the Longwood area until John died March 3, 1982. Louise then resided in Thorp.

She is survived by her son, Raymond (Shirley) Bonczyk of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard (Marian) Burzynski of Minneapolis, Minn., George (Lillian) Burzynski of Roselle, Ill., and Leonard (Theresa) Burzynski of Westmont, Ill.; and two sisters, Dolores Szczygiel of Bensenville, Ill., Margaret Zasacki of Thorp.
