Brenner, Norma (12 DEC 1931)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized Saturday, Dec. 12th, 1931, when Miss Norma Brenner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brenner of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Raymond Couillard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adlor Couillard of Hannibal, were united in marriage at the Presbyterian Church at Gilman, Rev. J.M. Ayers officiating. The young couple were attended by Miss Helen Herman, a friend of the bride, and Floyd Brenner, uncle of the bride. The bride wore a very pretty dress of white satin with overskirt of net trimmed with rose buds and cap style veil trimmed with pearls, carrying a bouquet of chrysanthemums and carnations. The bridesmaid’s dress was blue taffeta and she wore a corsage of carnations. After the ceremony the bridal party returned to the home of the bride where dinner and supper were served to about fifty guests. The dining room was decorated in green and white. The bride received many beautiful and useful gifts. All join in wishing them a long happy wedded life.
