Last Tuesday, Mr. Henry Meyers, ex-sheriff of Clark County, who is now connected with the furniture factory at Neillsville, went out on the 1:19 o'clock train, to do some business for the factory at Chili, a small station on the Omaha road, 8 miles west of this city, and while there, accidently got caught in the bull wheel, which crushed his left hand and arm. He was taken back to Neillsville on the next train and Drs. Esch and Lacy amputated the arm just below the elbow. Mr. Meyers is an old settler of Clark county, and his many friends are pained to hear of his misfortune.
