Baker, James P. (1861? - 12 Jan. 1941)
James Baker, an old resident of this community passed away at the Vinton Nursing Home Sunday, January 12, at the age of 80. Mr. Baker was brought to the home here September 20 where he suffered a stroke a few days prior to his passing.
Services were held at the Lowe Funeral Home Wednesday at two p.m., Rev. Wilson Bixler conducting the rites. Burial was made in the town of Grant.
He is survived by one sister, and an adopted daughter, his wife preceded him in death.
