Vetterkind, Harold W. (25 OCT 1906 - 20 JUL 1932)

Mr. Harold Vetterkind, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vetterkind of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), was accidentally drowned in Black River while out swimming on July 20, 1932.

He was born on Oct. 25th, 1906, and passed away at the age of 25 years, 8 months and 25 days. He was married to Miss Ellen Mertens of Withee on June 4th, 1930. To this union was born one daughter, Bonny Gene.

Those left to mourn his death are his wife and daughter, his mother and father, three sisters, Mrs. Virgil Bobb of Thorp, Mrs. Otto Klaar of Island Lake, Wis., and Lila of Thorp, six brothers, Walter, Elmer, Charles, Reuben, Bernard and Earl, all of Thorp, and eight nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services were held from St. Paul’s Ev. Luth. Church of Reseburg on July 23rd. Interment took place in the Sylvan Cemetery in Reseburg.
