Roesler, Orlena (31 AUG 1932)
The marriage of Miss Orlena Roesler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Buss of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), and Rev. F.H. Sprengler of Thorp, took place at the bride’s home at 2 o’clock P.M., Aug. 31st, 1932.
The bride wore a pink silk georgette dress with hat to match and accessories to correspond, and carried an arm bouquet of bridal roses and ferns. She was attended by her sister, Miss Hilma Roesler, who wore a pale green georgette gown with a hat to match and carried a bouquet similar to that of the bride. John E. Melchert, student, of St. Louis, Mo., acted as best man. Following the wedding a reception was held at the bride’s home, and a five o’clock dinner was served to immediate relatives and close friends.
The rooms and tables were decorated with bouquets of autumn flowers.
The couple left the next morning on a trip to western Minnesota and on their return will make their home in Thorp, where Rev. Sprengler is pastor of the Ev. Lutheran Church.
