Yoder, Edith (24 SEP 1932)
A quiet wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Yoder of Gilman, Wis., when their daughter, Edith, became the bride of Delmar Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith of Jump River, Wis., on Saturday, Sept. 24th, at 3 o’clock p.m., Rev. Ayres of Gilman Presbyterian Church performing the ceremony.
Miss Roxey Coates attended the bride and Clarence Smith, brother of the groom, acted as best man. Miss Irene Coates acted as flower girl and Ruby Coates played the wedding march.
The bride was attired in a pale blue mesh gown and the bridesmaid wore a white organdy, both ankle length, and carried a bouquet of ferns and white and pink carnations. The groom and his attendant wore blue suits.
The reception was held at the bride’s home, where a dinner was served to immediate relatives.
The couple left for a wedding trip to the eastern part of the state. On their return they will make their home at Gilman, Wis.
