Travinski, Leonard E. (22 FEB 1851 - 8 OCT 1932)
Leonard Elias Travinski was born in Strasburg, Germany, Feb. 22, 1851. He was married in Poland in 1873 and migrated to America in 1882. He settled at Batavia, N.Y. for a period of two years, then moved to Shenandoah, Pa., where he lived eight years. In 1892 he bought a farm in the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) and moved his family tat fall. He remained on this farm until 1917, which year he sold out and bought another farm. He sold this farm in 1919 and located in the village of Thorp and has resided here until he passed away Oct. 8th, 1932.
Surviving are his aged wife and nine children, Nick of South Plainfield, N.J.; John of Clifton, N.J.; Mrs. Fred Kybort of Clifton, N.J.; Mike of Milwaukee; Mrs. Jno. Graboski and Mrs. Jno. Diver of Chicago; Mrs. Chas. Deniszkiewicz of Thorp; Chas. Of Thorp; and Walter of Aberdeen, Wash. All were present at the funeral with the exception of Mrs. F. Kybort and Nick.
The funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Wednesday morning, Oct. 12th, Father F.A. Kulig officiating, interment taking place in the parish cemetery.
