Sniegowski, Helen (11 OCT 1932)
Miss Helen Sniegowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sniegowski of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. John Hmielak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hmielak, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony on Oct. 11, 1932, at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Father F.A. Kulig performing the ceremony. The contracting parties were attended by Mr. Kasimer Sniegowski as best man, and Miss Anna Hmielak as bridesmaid. Other attending couples were Mr. Alex Nowobielski and Miss Harriet Sniegowski, and Mr. Anton Maslowski and Miss Sophie Pabich.
The bride was attired in a handsome satin gown and lace veil to match and carried a bouquet of white astors, Ophelia roses with lilies of the valley and bridal wreath. The groom wore a dark blue suit.
A reception at the home of the bride’s parents followed the ceremony which was largely attended by relatives and friends of the newlyweds who will reside on a farm in the town of Reseburg.
