Asplin, Bethel (Marriage - 25 Jan. 1941)
Dale Armitage, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Armitage, and Bethel Asplin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Asplin, were married Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Congregational parsonage, Neillsville, by the Rev. G. W. Longenecker. The attendants were Jessie Asplin, sister of the bride, and Eldon Wiesjahn, a friend of the groom.
A supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents form immediate relatives, followed by a dance and shower in the Weston town hall Saturday night. They left Sunday morning for a week’s trip to Milwaukee.
The groom was graduated from the Neillsville High School in 1932 and from the short course at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1935. The bride was graduated from Neillsville High School in 1939. Both have been employed in the soil conservation office in Neillsville, Wis.
