The programme of the 18th annual Clark County Fair to be held at Neillsville September 11, 12 1nd 13 is a very attractive one and promises to attract general interest. Letters to the Times from the Secretary and from other Neillsville parties extend to Marshfield citizens a cordial invitation. Race premiums to the amount of $1,000 are offered for the following: Buthchers, Farmers, Running and Foot race Sept. 11th; 2:40 class and Colt race Sep. 12; 2:20 and 2:50 class Sep. 13th.

Neillsville's base ball club was defeated on the Spencer grounds on Sunday last by a score of 12 to 11. The game was supposedly Neillsville vs. Spencer but is claimed by some to have been won by four Marshfield players who were on the list. By others the Spencer battery is accredited and up at Mannville, which burg furnished two players they claim to have furnished the players that won the game.
