In 1912 he moved with his family to Longwood Township (Clark Co., Wis.) to the farm site where they made their home. He continued his work at the mines for several years, working and improving his farm during the summer months.
Surviving are his wife, five sons and one daughter, Rudick and Alice at home; Elmer in Idaho; Towo, Chicago; Vaino, in the Navy somewhere in the Pacific; Ralph, with the air corp. in Italy.
Funeral services were held May 3, 1944 from the Finnish Lutheran Church at Owen at 2 o’clock with burial at Riverside Cemetery.
