Kling, Pauline (4 JUL 1921 - 23 APR 1944)

George W. Scherer received word of the death of Mrs. Wm. Kling, 23, formerly Pauline Scherer, daughter of Mrs. Nick Scherer and the late Nick Scherer, who passed away at her home in Chicago on Sunday, April 23, 1944.

She was born July 4, 1921 in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). She moved with her parents to Chicago in October 1926. On November 20, 1943 she was married to Wm. Kling at Chicago.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at St. Clements Catholic Church and she was laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, her mother, two brothers, Robert in the armed forces and Harold, three sister, Mrs. Art (Florence) Johnson, Mrs. Frank (Marion) Weird, all of Chicago, and Mrs. John (Doris) Bush of Tomah, Wis., and many other relatives and friends.

The Nick Scherer family at one time resided in the residence now owned by the Christ Keiner family.
