Klancher, Frances (2 APR 1878 - 24 JUN 1944)
Frances Tomizck, 66, daughter of Tony and Margaret Tomizck, was born in Pljava Gorica, Slovenia, Jugoslavia, on April 2, 1878, and where she grew to womanhood, coming to Ely, Minn. In 1902.
On May 30, 1903 at Ely, Minn. She was united in marriage to Frank Klancher and they moved to Gorman (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1910.
She passed away suddenly at her home on June 24, 1944, following a heart attack, although she had not bee real well for some time.
She was a member of K.S.K.J. Society of Willard.
She is survived by her husband, five sons, Frank of Greenwood; Anton and Paul of Willard; Adolph at home and Albert of Chicago; three daughters, Mary of West Allis, Frances of Chicago and Louis of Willard. One sister, Mrs. Hannah Sheme of Scamoan, Kansas and 13 grandchildren. One son, John, preceded here in death.
A Requiem Mass was said at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church on Tuesday, June 27 with Rev. Father Raphael Stragisher, officiating. She was laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery there.
Pallbearers were Frank Francel, Sr., Frank Lunka, Sr., Frank Lesar, Sr., Paul Oblack, Sr., Ludwig Perushek, and Joe Perko.
Those from away who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pechek, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Pechek, Joe Shejak, all of Ely, Minn., and Mrs. Pete Matkovich, West Allis.
