Judycki, Edward A. (August 25, 1914 - June 13, 2006)

Edward A Judycki, age 91, died at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, on Tuesday, June 13, 2006.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin. Fr. Marion Talaga officiated and burial followed in St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Edward Adolph Judycki was born on August 25, 1914 in Lublin, WI. He was raised and educated in Chicago, IL. After completing his education, he moved back to Lublin and farmed with his family. In 1948, Ed bought a farm in the Town of Maplehurst, where he farmed and was a cattle dealer for many years. He retired from farming in 2003. He was a member of St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church, and was a past supervisor for the Town of Maplehurst. Ed had many interests but especially enjoyed playing saxophone with the Nightingale Orchestra for many years, making sausage, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by two brothers, Chester (Millie) Judycki of Portage, MI and Edwin (Alvina) Judycki of Kimberling City, MO; one sister, Harriet (Richard Sr.) Wrobel of Withee, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Eugenia Pawula.
