Gall, Frank Joseph (11 March 1870 - 6 March 1941)
Frank Joseph Gall, 71, died at 2:20 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, at the Neillsville hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Gall was born at Cedarburg, Wis., March 11, 1870, to Joseph and Amelia (Weber) Gall. He had been a resident of Clark County for 54 years.
He was married to Helen Elizabeth Simon of Neillsville, June 12, 1906. One son, Raymond, was born to them.
He is survived by his wife and son, the following brothers and sisters: Joe, Edward and Ted, Neillsville; William, Loyal; Michael, Chippewa Falls; Alvin, Janesville; (Margaret), Mrs. Fred Bruley, Neillsville; (Anna) Mrs. Arthur Schwamb, Globe; (Minnie) Mrs. Edward Gault, Neillsville; and (Clara) Mrs. Thomas Crocker, Wausau. A brother, Otto, was killed 22 years ago.
Short funeral services were held at the Schiller Funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Monday followed by rites at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 9:00, Rev. J. A. Biegler officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
All of the brothers and sisters were here for the funeral except Michael, who was here a week ago Sunday to visit his brother at the hospital; Mr. Gall now being in the south.
