Bennett, Jean Marguerite (7 Sept. 1895 - 12 March 1941)

Neenah - Mrs. E. A> Bennett, who was known before her marriage as Jean Marguerite Davis, formerly of Granton, passed away at her home in Neenah on March 12, at the age of 46 years, six months and five days.

Mrs. Bennett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Davis, was born in Milwaukee on September 7, 1895.

After graduating from Neillsville high school in 1914, she attended Eau Claire State Teachers college and taught school until her marriage on March 21, 1932, to Edgar Bennett. She lives since in Neenah.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, two sons, Gordon, attending dramatic school in Tennessee, and Ross, at home, to sisters, Sara Mae, Mrs. Lloyd Manley, of Stanley, and Ursula Elva, Mrs. J. W. Summers, of Gary, Ind., and her many friends far and near.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Neenah, and from there the body was taken to Sheboygan, where burial took place in the Hingham Cemetery beside her mother and father, who preceded her in death, but a few years. Rev. Bennett of Waldo, formerly of Granton, conducted the funeral services at Hingham.
