Lowry, Eric Nathan (December 14, 1977 - February 7, 2007)
Eric Lowry, age 29, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, February7, 2007 in a semi-truck accident in Chicago, IL.
Eric Nathan Lowry was born on December 14, 1977 in Racine, the son of Wilburn "Dewey" and Sandra J. (Kiekhefer) Lowry. He attended school in Neillsville and then worked with his father at the 4-n-1 in Hatfield. Eric also worked at Menard’s in Racine and most recently was a semi-truck driver for McCloud out of Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Brittney Montgomery on August 23, 2003 at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville, Wis.
Eric was a member of the National Rifle Association, the OOIDA, and he was a member of the Hatfield Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid hunter; he loved to read and he loved his children.
He is survived by his wife, Brittney; his daughter, Chloee; and his son, Taytor; his father Wilburn "Dewey" (Sue) Lowry, of Neillsville; his mother, Sandra Lowery-Kiekhefer, of Sturdevant, WI; his grandmother, Hilda "Nana" Lowry, of Kenosha, WI; a half-brother, Shon Puntillo, of Mauston, WI; a half-sister, Shelby (Al) Kapp, of Powers Lake, WI; a step-brother, David (Chris) Crawley, of Beloit; two step-sisters, Becky (Gene) Stenulson, of Granton; and Amy (Mike) Hermanson, of Afton, WI; three brothers-in-law, Blaine, Coti and Chad Montgomery and a sister-in-law, Tiffanee Montgomery; along with many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elmer (Lucille) Kiekhefer; and an uncle, Warren Kiekhefer.
Funeral services for Eric were held Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis. Pastor James Mohr of the United Church of Christ officiated. Interment was in the Hatfield Cemetery.
Honorary Casket Bearer was Austin Mahanke. Casket Bearers were: Garrett Miller, Coti, Chad, Blaine and Bill Montgomery, Mitchell Clark, Gene and Jeremy Stenulson.
The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Eric’s family with funeral arrangements.
