Jensen, Herman (30 July 1870 - 26 April 1941)
Funeral services for Herman Jensen, 70, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Union Church, Granton, following brief services at the home. Rev. Wilson Bixler of Neillsville officiated. Burial was made in the Windfall Cemetery. Mr. Jensen, had been confined to his bed with cerebral thrombosis for about a year, death occurring at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, April 26.
The departed was born in Calumet County on July 30, 1870, to Peter and Christina (Kassen) Jensen. He had been a resident of Clark County for about forty years.
His marriage to Miss Otelia Conrad of the town of Grant took place in that township March 28, 1896. They were the parents of two children, Edna, Mrs. Leo Sternitzky, and Addie, Mrs. Alfred Riedel, both residing in the town of Lynn.
He is survived by his wife and daughters, two grandchildren, Gerald Sternitzky and Ralph Riedel; a brother, Henry, of the town of Lynn, and four sisters, Mesdames Annie Conrad; Mary Kleinschmidt and Mrs. Arthur Garbush, all of the town of Lynn, and Mrs. Henry Ebbe, of Wisconsin Rapids.
